Olivia and I payed our respects to the many Veterans who have defended our beautiful country by dressing up as
Abigail Adams and her daughter, Abigail
for a Founding Fathers float in the Mesa Veterans day parade.

It was fun spending the day together doing the parade wave;
Elbow-elbow-wrist-wrist-wrist!

Olivia has been wanting to play the part of little Abigail Adams, known as "Nabby," for a long time. Today was the day!

We had to wait for an hour and a half before it was our turn. She brought Junie B. Jones to keep her busy!

Me and the other first ladies, Martha Jefferson, and Martha Washington.

Ceasar Rodney, Russell Pearce (State Senator) as himself, George and Martha Washington, Abigail and Abigail, and Martha Jefferson on the float.
The best part was seeing my sister, Maryjane, her family, Barb and Cam Oyler and Olivia's friend from school in the big crowd.
