Olivia the Basketball Player

Olivia decided to try a new sport, BASKETBALL!

She is playing on a 3rd and 4th grade team and having a blast!

Saturday was her second game ever. She made some good passes, and even shot a few shots. She'll get one in soon we are sure!

Of course, she has the BEST coach ever, Daddy!

Olivia and teammate cousins, Bregany and Mckenzie
Notice the two number 12's. Olivia accidently wore Chloe's jersey that day instead of hers, #11.

Win or lose, it's really about the snacks!

It's Lacrosse Time Again!

My new favorite pastime is taking action shots of Rustin (#27) during his lacrosse games.
This action shot of him getting attacked is my favorite ever!!!

They really want that ball and Rustin's not about to let them have it!

Rustin and good buddy McKay!

See the ball under his foot?

That's my ball- No, MY BALL!

A common sight, the Lacrosse scrum.

They ended up beating the Heat by 5 goals.
Revenge is sweet!

Piling on the goalie is becoming a fun new tradition after a win!

Here comes the Tigers! (Trenten, Rustin and Andrew)

Here comes my man!

Olivia's Gymnastic B-day Party!

Olivia wanted to have her b-day party at the gym where she takes gymnastics and I wanted to have a fun party that was fun and easy and not messy-
It was a great day for all!

Justin leading the party animals in some stretches before he sets them loose in the gym.
Krystal, Chloe, Kaitlyn, Shaylee, Kennedy, Olivia and Rustin

Kjerstin, Sophie, Olivia G, Eden, Katie,

Olivia flipping out.

Rustin getting HIGH!

Elizabeth, Karianne (who twisted her ankle on the trampoline later that morning), Olivia, Shaylee and Sophie take a quick break for a quick pic!

Lizzie and Livvy!

An ipenguin for her new ipod- Lovin' it!

Yummy treats and Target gift card, PERFECT COMBO!

Olivia asked me to make her cake look like her gymnastic suit. Pretty close and much yummier!

Make a wish little nine-year-old!

BLOW!

Olivia and Eden all loaded up with gifts to bring to the car.
 Thanks everyone!

Happy New Year 2009!!

We had a super fun new years party this year with Koskis and Wilsons and Winters over.

The girls played Balderdash (Rich joined us at the end) and The Question Game and laughed our heads off while the boys rocked their heads off playing Rock Band dowstairs.

My niece, Kate, wishes you a happy new year!

My sister Dorothy's kids, Jane and Kolbe playing with our noisemakers and musical instruments. It was so fun having these little ones around the house just like old times when my kids were little .
Kolbe was so hard to get a picture of, he was not interested in wasting his time looking at the camera or smiling.

Steve and Kole (Kolbe's Dad) Rocking out!

Kjerstin and Olivia and Chloe bounced themselves out. Olivia slept right through midnight!! These girls had been partying all Christmas break.
I had a lot more pictures from new years eve but I accidentally ruined about 75 pictures from that week when I turned off the camera while it was connecting
to the computer. I won't make that mistake again- hopefully!

Oh Shoot!

In honor of  Obama's inauguration tomorrow I'm blogging about one of my favorite parts of Christmas break. Going to the shooting range with my son, my baby sister, my two brothers, one of my many brother-in-laws and 2 nephews.

Here I am showing the target who's boss with my Springfield 40 XE or something like that.

Rustin and my big brother Steve setting up the target during the cease-fire. They are very serious about all guns being left alone, with their chambers open during this "cold" time. If you even approach your gun they will yell at you on the loud speaker and scare the crap out of you!

Rustin with Steve's two oldest sons, Steven and Alex. They are expert shooters because their dad is one big gun enthusiast!! They have a whole room in their house devoted to guns and reloading amo. My big bro. is a seriously good shot. He wins and puts on shooting competitions all the time.
DO NOT TRY TO ROB HIS HOUSE!!!

Rustin putting all his lessons from uncle Steve to good use.

My youngest sister Liza loved shooting too, especially the bigger ammo. You know what they say, the bigger the ammo the bigger the bang. She was a great shot! It must be in the blood!

My youngest brother Bill, is shooting his own gun, a Glock. He is amazing for a beginner. He shot in a tournament the next day and ranked 2nd out of about 50 beginners!!! Good job Bill!
Bill's target with a smiley face drawn on it. I'm surprised he was still smiling after all those shots to the head!

Brother-in-law Kole having a BLAST shooting! Get it?

Before we left we pulled out the shot gun I got fixed up for Russ for Christmas. It was soooo fun and sooo loud. Alex collected a bunch of unbroken skeet off the ground and he chucked them like frisbees for us to shoot.
(The automatic launcher was broken)

I missed my shots and couldn't get over the huge kick of the gun,  but Rustin hit one, Bill completely incinerated one and Liza nailed one on her very first shot! Steve hit one too. It was way more fun that I thought. I can't wait to go back!

Christmas Day 2008

Merry Christmas from the Crawfords!

Rustin and Russ getting the stockings off the ground.
They were much too heavy to hang on the Santa on the wall!

(especially Russ's, it was full of shotgun shells!)

Nellie found her presents right away and was loving it!

Okay, it's just a printer for the computer but those big boxes look great under the tree!

Russ got me jammies and a super soft robe from Victoria Secret.
(We won't show you the other stuff he got me from Vic. Sec. for our anniversary)

Tess and her first umbrella and a great picture of her.
It was like this all day! ARGH!

Grandma Rain had fun this year making the money in all of her presents very difficult to get too! Chloe almost got stuck forever in this Chinese finger trap!

Ahh, got the money out just in time!

Rustin's cash was in a little plastic trick box.

He tried so hard to get it open he actually broke part of it. I finally had to go get the instructions Grandma Rain had sent separately!
Thanks Grandma!

Russ and I were so naughty this year that Grandma Rain sent us COAL!!!
We must have been a little bit good because there was money in the bag for us too!

The coal was actually quite yummy cinnamon flavored black candy.

Russ must have inherited some of his grandmother's trickiness because he had a blast wrapping up some quirky things from his office with little clues on them as to where he had hidden our best presents!
"Don't do drugs or it will fry your brains out!"

This was a new thing for our family and a fun surprise!
Rustin's was a syringe leading him to a frying pan where a new cell phone awaited!

Chloe's was a Cliff bar and he told her a hint that led her to...

 the dryer.

Of course it was worth the hunt! Chloe got her first cell phone! Something she wanted so bad she didn't even dream of actually asking for it.

Olivia's was the most creative of all and she was the only one who probably wouldn't mind digging through...

THE DOG FOOD!

ipod nano baby! Dog food free!

He got a kiss out of me with this one and then told me mine was hidden where I warm things up
(the microwave)

My first iphone was DEFINITELY worth a kiss!!!

Oh ya baby!

I didn't get a picture of  Tess's note but it was on a box of tea Russ swiped from the break-room at work and it had a note that led her to the family room where her Wii Fit awaited. She has loved using it -we all have :)

This is what it looks like, Jake and Nellie fighting over one of their new Christmas toys!

I had to be a little creative too with the wrapping. I threw a huge rock in Olivia's and she was dying of curiosity for weeks over what made this present so heavy! It was only a shirt but I got her!!  Other kids got big heavy books and such in their boxes too.

Skull Candy headphones were high on Rustin's list. I guess they provide a lot of bass to your music so you can really rock out!

Chloe got a new magnetic bulletin board/ white board for her room and  gift card for the scrapbook store so she can make some super cute magnets for it!

Tess loves The Office too and loves her new shirt, especially for hiding behind!

We actually got a chance to use this tonight in a big downpour!

I had Russ's dad's old shotgun cleaned out and polished up so we could finally use it. We actually took it shooting with us a few days later and got some great video and pictures of Rustin, Liza, Bill and Steve blasting some skeet with it!
(poor Russ was at work- the range was always closed on the days he had off work- new years eve and day)

Just trying it out on the wall! It was empty!
But my little brother did give us a pack of buck shots to go with the two hundred regular shells that I got for Russ.

Rustin in his Dwight outfit drinking out of his Michael Scott mug!
Fact: Best Christmas Ever!!
