Tess's Awesome LAX Season

Tess (#8 with the pink and green stick) has had a great season so far. She's made lots of goals and assists, got ground balls and caused her opponents to turn over the ball a lot more than they would like to.

At the beginning of the year, at this tournament, she was number 8. She played varsity for a game and was number 6. Now she is number 38. Crazy!

Here she is harrassing a girl for the ball and knocks it out of her stick. They have to so this with a lot of skill because they can't hit the girl or the stick, only the net. The boys just plow people over and take the ball from them.

Here she is with the ball and ready to take a shot. Can't remember if she scored on this one or not, but we'll just pretend she did.

Ah, VICTORY!

Look at those colorful sticks!

Oops. This is looking more like boy's LAX

I had to put this picture in there because it is funny! #53 looks like she just laid an egg and the other girl caught it with her stick!

One on one!
Yesterday at her game (where she scored) some of the varsity girls that I know were telling me what a great player she is. They said she has such great skills and a killer instinct. They know she will get better and better as she comes out of her shell and gets older. They said the coach can really see her potential and thinks she is awesome too. Russ just said that she has one of the highest shooting percentages, 75%. She doesn't mess around!

Rustin's last season as a Jr. Tiger

Rustin had a great 8th grade season of Lacrosse with the Jr. Tigers. He was one of the oldest, biggest, strongest and toughest on the team.

Here he is in black doing a face off. He was the main face off guy and won most of them!

Here he is scooping it up

Off he goes!

Using a long pole usually used by defenders

Up in the air congratulatory hug to Braden Biggs after he scored!

Got it!

Rustin plays midi (midfield) and was the highest scorer on the team and a great defender.

He is on the ground but notice, he is ON TOP!

Waving hi after a good win.

Rustin was happy with Daniel's playing so he gave him a lift.

Olivia and the Tigers

Olivia had a great basketball season this year! They had a much better record than last year and of course, the best coach ever, Daddy!

Gotta love those lucky socks!

Watch Out Bad Guys!

The new Crawford hobby has got out of control! Russ and Rustin both got guns for Christmas
(not that we didn't have enough already!)

We had fun at this outdoor shooting range that was littered with shotgun shells. They were everywhere!

McKenna found something interesting

Grandpa helping Sloan and one of the Uncles helping Alex and Liv.

Sophie and Sloan punishing some targets!

Liv nice and toasty

Enough already??!!!

Sophie and Liv learned how to load their own magazines for the .22
Very helpful!

Here they go!!

Good Christmas, Bad Pictures

My camera broke a while before Christmas so I had to leave it in the shop while we headed to the "Washington Crawford's" house for Christmas. So, we were left with Chloe's little camera that was on the wrong setting for most of these pictures. This is all I've got but hopefully after Marisa sees this post she will email me the pictures from her nice camera!

On Christmas eve we had a nice program. Chloe and Tess each played a song on the piano, Olivia and I sang a song as well as all the girl cousins. Rustin read the story of Christ's birth from the scriptures while Sloan, Rylie and Alex were dressed up as wiseman, Mary, and a shepherd. I think Baby Jesus is an American Girl doll.

Chloe, Tori, Jim, Olivia and McKenna hanging out in the living room. You should have seen all the presents around that tree! Enough for 4 families!

Chloe likes the flower headband I got her at a cute boutique

Rustin got a hatchet, Mt. Dew and a Spongebob shaving kit from Tess for Christmas. It was pretty dang funny!

Cute little Sophie!
