Losing Precious Liza

My most precious baby sister, Liza Koski, passed away on Jan. 26, 2011. Although she was one of the most loved and loving people I have ever met, her inner turmoil was too much for her poor little soul to handle and she took her own life at the age of 21. We love and miss her dearly but know that a loving Father in Heaven and Savior have made it possible for us to see her again and kiss her face and tell her how much we love her.

Liza and I when she came to visit us in 2004 for Christmas. 15 years old.

If you would like to come pay your respects, the funeral services are on:

Fri. Feb. 4th at 11:00 am at the LDS church on
777 E. Elliot Rd. (corner of Elliot and Lindsay) in Gilbert, AZ 85234
There will be a viewing beforehand at 10:00 am, same location.

Tess and her aunt Liza who is only 4 years older than her.

Just after her first summer working in the mountains, cutting trails with the North West Youth Corps. A group of people she loved working hard with and also helping cope with their struggles in life. It was during this time that we started to see some signs of hope that she was finding joy all on her own.

We love and miss you Liza and but are comforted knowing you are safe and free from worldly care in our Father's arms.

The funeral was a beautiful service. It was neat to get to know your family and see the love they have for each other. Families are forever. That's what makes forever a desirable thing. Love you and your family!
