Tess at BYU Lacrosse camp

Tess and her best friend, Hailey, took a plane to Utah for their first Lacrosse Camp at BYU!

Don't let her fool you...
she is thrilled to be out on her own

Their neighbors on the plane

Their favorite snack they brought for the flight

Tess is having way to much fun being away from home!

Hailey is hugging the grass, glad to be on solid ground at the Koski's house where they hung out until they headed to BYU on Monday.

Tess and Hailey took off on a nature walk Sunday afternoon and took cool pic's and had quite an adventure!

Safe at the top of the mountain they climbed, now it's time to head down and home...

Wait... where is home. This doesn't look right!
This is not the way we came up!!!

After finally making it across the quarry, they had to scale a fence into someone's back yard. Luckily the someone's were in the back yard and helped the girls by getting a step stool and a towel to cover the sharp fence top.

Apparently it was not enough to keep Hailey from hurting her arm!

Safe and sound on the other side and now the long walk the rest of the way.

One of the beautiful animals they met on their way

Another one

Now, down to business at the Y

Outside their dorm (Taylor Hall)

Some of their new teammates

Unique view of Tess and the dorms

Hailey kept forgetting which dorm room was theirs so Tess tied did this to help her find her way home.

When the cat's away...

the mice trash the place!

Fun fun

Another favorite part of dorm life...

The cafeteria

Rustin went to LAX camp here too but took no pictures.
Boys just don't do that.

Having fun in the Azores

My mom watched the video below and taught some friends and other missionaries the happy birthday song during a geneology class when the teacher didn't show up. Looks like quite a party! Wish we were there!

Happy Birthday video

Here you go Mom!

This is a fun b-day song thingy that we learned at girls camp 2 years ago and then taught all my family. My mom is on a mission near Portugal and wanted to show one of the Elders for his birthday but couldn't remember it. She asked me to post this to refresh her memory!
See if you can learn it!

Ward Campout!

Even though Russ had been to girls camp and scout camp he was still willing to take us on the ward camp! :)

Thanks Daddy-o. We had sooo much fun!

Sitting around the campire with our campfire friends
Although the Gallman's have 11 kids of their own, that did not stop them from bringing three extra kids with them!

Chilly morning- sorta

Josh Gallman, cousin Shelby and friend, Kylee (YCL!)

Gallman # 9, Sammie

Olson #1, Sadie. The cutest little thing ever! The kids kept stealing her from each other.

The other favorite thing to steal. Baby puppy, Jasper

Awwww~

Jason Calvi (the model for Jesus in a recent post) and his son, Hayden. Russ taking his turn holding Sadie (who is usually pretty shy but not on this trip).

Sadie's daddy, Chris Olson, helping make breakfast. Thanks!

Brother Blaser and Bro. Sanders making some yummy food. Thanks and thanks Michael for playing Ninja with us!

Grommet! One of the Calvi's two Italian Greyhounds that they brought.

One view of camp, our trailer in the background

Jasper's play pen!

Tailie Sanders. So talkative and smart first child!

Two of her little siblings, Jayden and Sienna

Josh Blaser who was carving a stick with another stick!

Tess holding Jasper and hiding from me.

Chloe (Notice the cute braids? see post below about Crawford hair salon) and Sadie.

Jasper in his play pen with his favorite stuffed animal.

Jasper is a little sick and still a baby so he slept a LOT!

He is sooo skinny and has such thin fur we had to keep him bundled and dressed.

Chloe and I playing catch in a great game of "Pinecone Ball"
It resembles baseball.

Chloe up to bat!

On first, Sister Burns and Olivia G. in the outfield.

Hey batter-batter

Now taking my turn as pitcher

We had 3 Olivia's at camp. Sitting to the right of my Olivia is Olivia Lewis who LOVED Jasper!

Yes! He is TALL!!!! This is Bryan (Gallman's friend) and he is 6'10'' That is me next to him. Wow!

Finally my turn to bat!

Shaylee G. up to bat. You go girl!

Penelope G. Looking pretty in her girls camp green!

That is one high strike zone!

Me pitching to Carissa Burns (the newlywed!)

Rustin trying to hit home his runers and win the game. Sorry buddy.

Shaylee G. Relaxing after a great pinecone ball victory

Thanks for all the hard work Russ. We love you!
Happy Early Father's Day!
